the Laughing Lotus?
The Laughing Lotus is a very special place for
celebrating life and cherishing the moment. A Center for Therapeutic Humor,
Healing Arts & Special Events.
The Lotus flower can be symbolic for rebirth,
spiritual awakening or life in general. The Lotus flower represents the
surviving of life's tragic, hard times. The flower begins its life in the mud
and muck to grow into an object of great beauty, giving anyone who looks at it
great pleasure.
Laughter...is the best medicine and changes the chemicals in our brains, making
us healthier & happier. Laughter reduces stress, depression, anger &
anxiety, while increasing joy, happiness, peace of mind and improving our
health.

About the Laughing Lotus
The Laughing Lotus is unique to the Yuba-Sutter area.
At 1250 sq. ft. inside, the Laughing Lotus offers an elegant, open spaced
setting for private parties, weddings, events & meetings. A catering corner
is available for food services.
Outside the French doors is a beautiful, 1600 sq. ft. tranquility garden. Flowing
garden walls and 155 year old historic brickwork offer a whimsical feel with
intrigue around each corner. A peaceful garden mural graces the back wall.
Classes for Healing Art & Wellness modalities, including Laughter Yoga,
Hula Hoop Fitness, Traditional Yoga, Drumming Circles, Emotional Freedom
Therapy (EFT), Laughter Clubs and so much more!
